Athletic Events School Directions
Directions to All 7th and 8th Grade Athletic Contests
West Hoke: Go east on 74 to Rockingham. Bear to the left on 74 Bypass towards Laurinburg. As you come into Laurel Hill, begin to look for Old Wire Rd on your left. The road will cross over a railroad track. Continue to the stop sign. Bear left at the stop sign. You will go approx. 10 miles to a stop sign. Go straight through this stop sign. Now go about 12 miles to another stop sign. Here you will turn left onto HWY 401. Continue on 401 until you come to East Palmer Rd. (Stop Light) Make a left at the light and travel about 1 mile, West Hoke Middle will be on your left.
East Hoke: Follow same directions as West Hoke, except do not turn left at the stop light on East Palmer Rd. Continue going straight on 401, go passed Hoke Senior High School. Travel about 5 miles passed Hoke Senior, and East Hoke Middle school will be on your right.
Sycamore Lane: Go passed Rockingham on 74 bypass towards Laurinburg. Stay on 74 Bypass as the Hwy will split by Scotland High. Take the HWY 401 Exit. At the end of the exit, take a right and go to the 3rd stop light. Exxon will be on your right. Go approx. 50 yards and Parker furniture will be on your right. Turn Left at the sign that says Sycamore Lane Middle School. The school will be on your left.
Rockingham: Go east on 74 Business into Rockingham. Take Hwy 1 North through downtown. Take a left onWall St. School is two blocks down.
Hamlet: Go east on 74 business through Rockingham to Hamlet. As you come into Hamlet, there will be a Hardees on your right and a Burger King on your left. Turn right at that light. Go approx. 1.5 miles to McDonald Ave. Turn right at this light and go about 1 mile, and the school will be on your right.
Carver: Take 74 bypass toward Laurinburg to Laurel Hill. Turn Left on Old Wire Rd. Go to the stop sign and bear left. Travel a few miles and the school will be on your right.
Spring Hill: Go east on 74 Bypass towards Laurinburg to Laurel Hill. Turn Left on Old Wire Rd and go to the stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign. You will go approx. 10 miles to another stop sign. Go straight and travel about 12 miles to another stop sign. This will be HWY 401. Turn right and go about two miles. The school will be on your left.
Ellerbe: Go east Hwy 74 business into Rockingham. Take a left on right on HWY 220. Go approx. 15-20 miles into Ellerbe town limits. Turn left at the First United Baptist Church on Ballard St. The school is about one mile on the right.
Cordova: Take 74 bypass towards Laurinburg. Take HWY 220/Hwy 1 exit. Turn Left at the top of the exit. Travel about 3-5 miles and you will pick up airport signs. Take the first right passed the airport road and travel about 2-3 miles and you will pick up Rohanen Junior High Signs.
